Meet Muva Blanco_ Founder and Author.png

Peace, Beloved! Welcome to New Eden.

I'm so glad your journey brought you here!

I'm formally known as Rev. Dr. J.N. Huskey, also known as Jzajaidah (that's Juh-High-Duh, don't hurt yourself trying to pronounce it, lol), but my students and community affectionately call me Muva Blanco.

As the Founder and Muva of New Eden Healing Arts Center, New Eden University, and Haus of Blanco, I'm a woman who wears many crowns, but every single one of them serves the same purpose: to educate, empower, and help people heal.

My philosophy is simple: We are whole beings, so why would we approach healing in pieces? True wellness means tending to the mind, body, AND spirit, because you can't keep pouring spiritual glitter over emotional wounds and expect everything to magically be okay. Around here, we believe in doing the inner work, too!

The Mind: As a holistic psychotherapist and coach, I help people unpack life's baggage, navigate emotional challenges, break unhealthy cycles, and discover healthier ways of showing up for themselves. My approach blends psychological insight, compassion, cultural awareness, and a healthy dose of real talk.

The Body: As a naturopath and holistic health practitioner, I believe in supporting the body's natural ability to maintain balance through intentional wellness practices, natural approaches, and whole-person care.

The Spirit: As an ordained interfaith minister, spiritual educator, and professor at New Eden University, my work is deeply rooted in African Traditional Religions, Indigenous Spiritual Studies, theology, and metaphysical sciences. From spiritual counseling and esoteric studies to meditation, sound healing, and holistic spiritual practices, I believe sacred knowledge should be accessible, empowering, and taught with both wisdom and respect.

I'm also the creator of "Trap Therapy" & "The New Eden Way", platforms dedicated to breaking down the stigma surrounding mental health and making healing conversations more relatable, especially within urban BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities. Because healing doesn't have to sound like a textbook, and therapy shouldn't feel like a luxury reserved for a select few.

At the heart of everything I do is one belief: You can honor your ancestors, nurture your spirit, prioritize your mental health, and still be unapologetically YOU. You don't have to fit into anybody's box to be worthy of healing, education, or spiritual growth.

So whether you're here to begin your healing journey, deepen your spiritual practice, explore the mysteries of the universe, or simply figure out what in the world your soul has been trying to tell you, there's a place for you here.

Take a look around, explore our offerings, and find what speaks to your spirit.

Come as you are, Beloved. There's room for all of you at New Eden.

With love, light, and a lil' razzle dazzle,

Muva Blanco
